Shabnam Sani started her writing career in 2003 with her first telefilm Ek Mehmaan Mehrbaan for PTV World. She penned a few more telefilms in the following years for many private TV channels.
She wrote three TV serials including Noor Jehan (2016), Hina Ki Khushboo (2018) and Tu Mera Junoon (2020) for Geo Entertainment.
